Where the story began...
...with God's mercy! I woke up one day and realized I needed to make a change. I was struggling with PTSD, depression, and terrible anxiety; and had even attempted suicide in 2017. (Special thank you to the Dr who got down on his knee and prayed for me after realizing I had taken a lethal dose of sleeping medication.)
I was never overly religious, and honestly, a lot of my life was spent so angry at God for all of the crap I had went through as both a child and an adult. But at my lowest point, I decided to pray for help. And God took that faith, the size of a mustard seed, and moved mountains for me!
He literally started this business for me! No plans for it or anything. I had a shirt done for my daughter by another company, and other moms at her studio started asking me for them. I ordered a few times and decided to start making them myself after seeing how successful the sales were.
Next thing you know, I was blinging shoes, tumblers, and other items for people. This led to requests for items for their school teams. Once I started adding videos to social media, things really begain to snowball! I now make items for idividuals and teams across the country!
He gave me my way to freedom! He has performed miracles in my life and continues to pour into my daughter and I! We are still on the road to complete financial freedom; and I am still working on changing the patterns and breaking generational curses, but my faith is in the Lord. March 27, 2023 marks our one year anniversay and I am in awe about what God has done for my daughter and I! In more ways than one and on numerous occassions, he has saved my life!
Psalm 116: 1-9; 12-14
1 I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. 2 Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live. 3 The cords of death entangled me, the anguish of the grave came upon me; I was overcome by trouble and sorrow. 4 Then I called on the name of the LORD: "O LORD, save me!" 5 The LORD is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. 6 The LORD protects the simplehearted; when I was in great need, he saved me. 7 Be at rest once more, O my soul, for the LORD has been good to you. 8 For you, O LORD, have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, 9 that I may walk before the LORD in the land of the living. 12 How can I repay the LORD for all his goodness to me 13 I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD. 14 I will fulfill my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.
The Inspiration...
...is my tiny dancer and this costume I created for her first lyrcial solo dance called "Beautiful" when she was just 4 years old. I wanted her costume to reflect the title of her dance, so I covered it in over 3,900 Swarovski crysals! And let me tell you, it sparkled so beautifully on stage! Needless to say, I began to bling everything: my son's shoes and mask for his hiphop solo, hair bows, shirts, and of course, more costumes. I was hooked!
